September 23, the 2012 Summer Biathlon World Championship in Ufa has come to a close. At 8:30 P.M. there will be a festive closing ceremony at "Congress Hall." The last day will be remembered for the grat victories of Olga Podchufarova (Russia), Vita Semerenko (Ukraine), Petr Pashchenko (Russia), and Aleksey Volkov (Russia), and also for the touching farewell ceremony for celebrated biathlete Anna Bogaliy, who has announced her retirement from the sport.
