Readiness Of Sports Venues For Major International Competitions Was Examined In Ufa

Readiness of sports venues for major international competitions– IBU Summer Biathlon World Championships 2012, Ice Hockey U20 World Championship 2013, VI International Children’s Winter Games 2013 was examined in Ufa on March 1, 2012.

Inspection was carried out by committee consisting of Ruslan Bikimbetov, Deputy Minister of youth policy and sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ramil Dilmukhametov, Deputy Head of Administration of the city of Ufa, Sergey Stepanov, Chairman of Physical culture and sports Committee.

They inspected such sport venues as Multipurpose Sports facility Ufa-Arena, The Sports Palace, Sport Complex “Biathlon”, Ski center “Olympic Park”.

Sport Complex “Biathlon” will be prepared for the upcoming international championships as well.

It is planned to broaden race tracks, to reconstruct the shooting range and repair the roof, to equip the press-center, to make accreditation building cold proof.
